Behind the Scenes with Babygirl: Building It from Scratch

Welcome to Behind the Scenes with Babygirl. Nothing is ever as simple as it looks. Honestly, that’s the point.

You only see the semi-polished posts. Let’s be honest, even what you think is polished, I often overthink. I believe there is room for improvement. You see the curated feeds. The Amazon storefronts will soon be organized. It seems as if I had it all figured out from day one. (Spoiler alert: I’m still figuring it all out.)

Nonetheless, behind the scenes with Babygirl looks a lot different. There are late nights that seamlessly transition into early mornings. Tasks overlap. There are folders full of ideas that deserve their time to shine. There are also moments of self-doubt, creative blocks, and the constant battle with imposter syndrome. These are the real challenges we all face in our creative journeys.

I’m not complaining — just giving you the whole picture. I know you’ve been there too, and I want you to know, you’re not alone in this journey.

First of all, let’s be real: nothing about this was handed to me. (We’ll get into that another day.) Most days, I’m bouncing between content creation, editing audio clips, fixing broken links, and answering, “Mom, what’s for dinner?” Meanwhile, my brain is juggling deadlines, page layouts, and debating which font screams me. But it’s this juggling act, this dedication, that fuels my journey.

Still, I show up — and I keep building.

Let’s Recap

Behind the Scenes with Babygirl isn’t about being perfect. It’s about the process. The pivoting. The persistence. It’s about showing the messy middle. The empire is getting built one blog post at a time. It is constructed one page at a time and one step at a time.

Because behind every success is someone who stayed up all night and still showed up. And I couldn’t have done it without your support. Thank you for being a part of this journey.
