My first page(blog): It all started with a boy I met—but that’s a story for another time.
Let’s start here: It all started on a platform. I saw some pages and thought—I’m funnier than that. I can do this. And I might actually be good at it.
I mean, it didn’t look that hard. So what was holding me back?
Nothing.
So, I did it. I created a page (several pages, but that’s another story for another time), and I’ve been successful. Some might say I am. Some might disagree. Either way, I don’t care. That’s the whole point.
I don’t post for everybody—I post for me. I post what I like. If you like it, great. If you don’t? That’s fine too. Your opinion doesn’t affect me. I appreciate the positivity, but I block out the negativity. You have to be in this line of so-called work.
And yeah, some people say it’s not real work.
Maybe they’re right.
Because when you love what you do, it doesn’t feel like work.
But here’s what is essential—having the right circle around you. People who support, encourage, and motivate you. People who have your back. And if you’re doing social media long-term, you need to understand that it’s a machine. A constant grind. It’s okay to step away sometimes. It’s necessary to take time for yourself, move at your pace, and do what works for you.
And yes, there’s faceless content, but that content isn’t faceless, there is someone behind it.
Unless it’s AI-generated, that’s another story for another time.
We are humans behind the page. And that’s why your circle matters. I’ll talk more about mine soon because they’re the reason one of my pages became very successful.
But before I get into that…
Maybe you already know my page.
Maybe that’s why you’re here.
But if you don’t—hi!
As you can tell, I have a lot to share. And trust me, there’s plenty more where this came from. But I’ll save it for another day.
Because if I keep going… I might write a whole book. Haha.
